October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, an annual tribute to those impacted by pregnancy and infant loss of all kinds. Worldwide events, like the Wave of Light Ceremony (October 15th) not only help raise awareness about the complex nature of pregnancy loss, but offer loss parents a special opportunity to share their stories, get much needed support, and remember their babies.

What’s more, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month gives helping professionals a chance to support clients and loved ones who have experienced this kind of loss.

🎨 That’s why this October, I will be hosting a free online workshop in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. “Expressing the Unseen: Using Art to Heal After Pregnancy Loss” will take place on October 17th from 12-1pm (EST). Informed by my experience as an art therapist and loss mom, this workshop demonstrates how artmaking can help you process your loss and begin to heal.
