private practice consultation

Being a mom is a busy job, especially in this semi-post-pandemic world. And there is no doubt that specialized therapy for moms is 100% needed these days. But finding the time to do something for yourself isn’t easy. And beyond feeling busy, it’s also one of the toughest jobs on the planet. You need to somehow take care of all the things and be a calm, happy parent, and also squeeze in self-care and oh yeah take care of the house, and oh, what about career stuff?

It can feel so overwhelming, especially when you have a lot going on internally.

Stressors like managing your home, parenting your kids, maintaining relationships, and somehow finding time to have a life is a lot to balance. But they only scratch the surface. What about how you are doing overall?

Motherhood can be awesome, but it definitely has it’s challenges. And those challenges take an emotional (and sometimes physical) toll. From mom guilt, to mom anxiety, to mom-shaming, to mom-blaming, (sensing a theme here?), it’s a lot to deal with. Sometimes you just want to clear your mind and have some down time to recover.

But how?

If you are in a place where you are thinking about getting some support, I can help. Here at the Center for Creative Counseling, I specialize in therapy for moms who have been going through a lot and are ready to start feeling better.

A Note from Owner and Therapist Hayley Wilds

When I founded the Center for Creative Counseling, I knew I wanted to create a practice that catered specifically to moms. I’m a mom myself and I totally get the struggle that is motherhood. From fertility struggles, to pregnancy woes, to birth trauma, to newborn sleep deprivation, to raising those little sweethearts, we go through a LOT when we become a mom.

When I was struggling, I sought out a therapist to help me get back on track. I will never forget what it felt like to be seen, heard, and supported along the bumps in my motherhood journey. Between this invaluable experience, and the 20 years I spent working with families, I learned invaluable lessons and useful tools to manage my motherhood challenges. And I cannot wait to share them with you.
